Last week I posted that my business would be launching soon. Well, sooner than I thought.
Gray Stabley Genealogy Services is officially open for business!

I finished putting the website together and I now have a Facebook page. I hope you’ll take a look at both in the coming days.
If you ever need a little business advice, I have a recommendation. A friend told me about SCORE, Service Corps of Retired Executives. You can find them at www.score.org. They are volunteer mentors who have the knowledge and expertise to support you in your small business.
I filled out a form asking me what I wanted help with. That was on Monday. By Wednesday I was on a Zoom call asking questions about marketing and anything else I could think of. The two gentlemen I spoke with couldn’t have been nicer and they really knew their stuff. The best part is they will be around for the duration of my business. What a wonderful service!
This week is short, sweet, but very exciting! Now, to tackle my ProGen homework assignment. Until next week…
Genealogy tip: Don’t be hesitant to ask for help. No one person knows everything. Whether it’s genealogy or just life, sometimes we all need help!
